A graduate of UNILAG who read law was diagnosed with a particular type of cancer called malignant sarcoma situated at the shoulder sometime last year. She was all over the news and media sites as well because money had to be raised for her operation. Funmi, who was operated on early this year died this morning at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. We sincerely wish her family the fortitude to bear this great loss and may her soul rest in peace. (Amen).
