Wizkid to return to EME music group soon

Wizkid will soon be returning to his former music label, EME Music Group, this is according to a reliable industry source. The source revealed  that Wizkid and EME bosses have been going back and forth for the last couple of weeks through their lawyers trying to agree on new terms of them working together again.
“Wizkid leaving EME was just his way of pushing the bosses at the label to take him seriously and increase his earning percentage. When he joined EME he wasn’t a star but then he became a mega star and was making a lot of money for the label and they still didn’t increase his earning percentage so he took a walk. Now they are working on a new contract that will favour Wizkid.” The source said

Senator David Mark denies buying the Chevy Corvette for Annie and 2face Idibia

The card on the car clearly says 'wedding gift from Senator David Mark', but the senate president's senior adviser on media, Kola Ologbondiyan, has released a statement denying it. Ologbondiya said:
Senator Mark did not visit Dubai for Tuface wedding rather he attended the 128th Inter parliamentary Union (IPU) conference currently holding in Quito, Ecuador. He was also not represented at Mr. Idibia's wedding. It is also instructive to state that the President of the Senate, Senator Mark, did not make a car donation of any kind to Tuface before departing Nigeria for Ecuador neither did he purchase nor send any car to Dubai as a wedding gift for the musician or his wife. Who made the donation on behalf of the President of the Senate?
It is therefore a puerile lie for anybody to state that Senator Mark Ebought a Ferrari car worth N47m for Tuface. The allegation is wicked, ridiculous and irresponsible.
Signed: Kola Ologbondiyan
Special Adviser, Media & Publicity to the President of the Senate David Mark
The Chevy Corvette is worth about N7m and if the Senate president says he didn't buy it, then we should give him the benefit of doubt. I doubt a man of his caliber will buy a wedding gift and then publicly deny buying it.

Couple Supposed To Wed Today Killed By Truck On Thursday.

A truck laden with cement, belonging to Dangote factory on Thursday crushed seven people including a couple to death at Ibese in Yewa North local government area of Ogun state. The accident which involved three trucks of the cement company forced the Commissioner of Police, Ikemefuna Okoye to move to the area in a bid to reduce tension in the area following an outbreak of pandemonium that led to the death of a trailer motor boy and burning of three Dangote trucks. The couple who were crushed to death while on a motorcycle, it was learnt, had fixed today (Saturday) for their wedding ceremony before the unfortunate incident. The Unit Commander of Itori Federal Road Safety Corps, Fatai Bakare while confirming the incident yesterday, blamed the accident on the recklessness of the truck drivers. According to him, six of the victims were on two motorbikes before they were crushed by the trailer. And that the bodies of the deceased had been deposited at the Ilaro general hospital morgue.“It was an accident involving three trucks belonging to DANGOTE Cement Company but before members of the FRSC got to the scene, the number plates of the trucks were already removed. Seven people died in the accident (6 males and 1 female) including a husband and wife on a bike.”
The Ogun State Police Command also confirmed the accident. Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Muyiwa Adejobi said; “Ogun State police command has drafted over 50 policemen which included both mobile and conventional policemen to maintain law and order in the area.” The Head, Corporate Communications of DANGOTE Cement, Anthony Chiejina, however denied that the trailers that crushed the victims belong to the cement company

Nigeria VS Kenya : We must respect the Kenyans" - mba

Despite earlier threats by Super Eagles coach Stephen Keshi that he would leave Sunday Mba out of the squad to play against Kenya, the Big Boss couldn’t leave his hero out, although the ownership tussle between Warri Wolves and Rangers of Enugu is yet to be resolved.
Sunday Mba has also left his troubles behind him to give his all in the match against the Harambee Stars of Kenya and has urged his team-mates not to disrespect their rivals in the 2014 World Cup qualifiers.
Mba stated that the Eagles should expect a tough game against the Kenyans, adding that they will not be pushovers. The Kenyans are in Calabar hoping to record an upset against the Africa Champions and Mba added that the Eagles must have to keep a level head if they are to prevail, but refused to make any predictions for the game.
“We must respect the Kenyans. They have some excellent players and they just appointed a new coach, so I do expect a difficult game from them but we are capable of containing any threat they would pose,” Mba told CAFonline. The AFCON hero also noted that the Nations Cup was a different ball game from the match at hand in Calabar, and the Eagles will have to be in their best to win.
“We have put the Nations Cup success behind us. It’s a new task now, the World Cup qualifier and it’s busy as usual. We are confident going into the game but not over confident because we know there are no minnows anymore in African football.”
