Music has always been my dream…

While growing up, music has always been my dream. But then, when I was still in school, I never saw it as a means of livelihood. Back then, music was not one of the career choices you could tell your parents because parents believed more in professional white collar jobs, and that was why I studied law.

Am happy with my debut album…

Really, I am quite happy with my last album “Lasso of Truth”. I am happy with the attention I am getting from it. I have a very strong fan base and really, I am enjoying every bit of the attention I am getting. Right now, I am moving on to the next level. I am trying to put my money where my mouth is. I’m making a live album soon, because I can’t keep saying I perform live and I don’t have a live album.

Lowest moment in life….

I’m generally a happy person and it’s very difficult for me to get to that point where I am very down, because most times I even feed off other people’s energy. So, I am a happy person. I make people happy and that’s what gives me the happy and content vibe that I have. It’s hard to find me on a low. The lowest point you can find me is when I am disappointed about people’s opinion regarding me.

But it doesn’t really bother me to the extent where I need to correct the opinion especially if it’s not true.

My involvement with Agriculture and One.org

Well, I’m an artiste and by virtue of that, I stand as a spokesperson for the people through one of the most important tools which is music, and the organsers ‘one.org’ needed artistes that can appeal to the middle class and grassroots to encourage farming and all that it entails. And then, looking inwards into Nigeria, I must commend the Ministry of Agriculture, because a lot of people are not aware and in tune with the massive industry and economic value that agriculture brings to the country. But personally, I am aware because I’m a small time farmer, I have an acre of land in Warri where I produce crops and livestock and the growth is really impressive, because we make money off agriculture. So, now it’s my job to make people see farming as a cool job and a possible career path for the youth and make the government see a clearer picture as well.

Joggling motherhood, music and agriculture…

It’s a way of life for me. I just see it as what I need to do, and most times it doesn’t even feel like am doing anything. For instance, I do a lot more than these things you mentioned. I just started my own NGO called “Omawonder’s Little House of No Regrets” which empowers women and young girls.

My daughter is not missing out on anything….

I always told myself that when I start having kids, I’ll quit music and become a teacher. But it’s not happening, so the thing about it is that I am blessed with a large family because you can’t do it all alone. I have 13 siblings. So, everybody is involved in grooming my child and she’s not missing out on anything, because I always make sure I attend to her school work. I bath her and take her to school myself. It’s not stressful at all. 

Late Hollywood Actor, Paul Walker's Brothers Help Finish 'Fast & Furious 7' Action Scenes. [Photos]

Paul Walker's brothers, Cody Walker and Caleb Walker would be filling in the gap for Paul walker  in "Fast & Furious 7" which was  not finished before the actor's death, producers said Tuesday production.

"We had to take time to grieve Paul, the brother we love and lost, and to figure out if we should move on with our film," producers wrote to fans in a Facebookpost Tuesday. The decision to resume filming was "the only choice," the note said. We believe our fans want that, and we believe Paul would want that, too." Walker's dramatic scenes were completed before his death but some action sequences were unfinished, they said.

"We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our 'Fast' family," the post said. "Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production. Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us, too." The movie was to have been released this summer, but Universal pushed it back to April 10, 2015.

"This film is the most important we've ever done together," the post said. "It will allow the character of Brian O'Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role." Walker's O'Conner character is a staple of the long-running and hugely profitable film franchise. Directed by James Wan, it also stars Vin Diesel, Dwayne Johnson, Michelle Rodriguez and Jason Statham. Investigators concluded in a report released in March that speed was to blame in Walker's death.

"Investigators determined the cause of the fatal solo-vehicle collision was unsafe speed for the roadway conditions," Los Angeles County Sheriff's Commander Mike Parker said.

The high-performance 2005 Porsche Carrera GT was going "between 80 and 93 mph at the time the car impacted a power pole and several trees," the final report said. The posted speed limit on the Santa Clarita, California, office park road was 45 mph.

Wizkid and Waje part ways with manager, Godwin Tom.

Waje’s PR firm confirmed the separation.

Nigeria’s music industry has witnessed another fall-out between an artiste and a manager as pop sensation, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun, and Waje have parted ways with their manager, Godwin Tom.

Although Wizkid is yet to make an official confirmation, he removed Godwin Tom’s name from his twitter page as manager and replaced it with Seun Johnson.

Speaking with PREMIUM TIMES on phone, Godwin Tom, who once managed rapper, M.I., said he would speak at the right time. “I can’t comment on that sir, not now” he told PREMIUM TIMES while asking for time to release an official statement. Waje’s PR rep, Wild Flower PR, however, confirmed that Waje and Godwin Tom no longer work together.

“Godwin Tom is no longer managing Waje,” Waje’s media rep told NET newspaper.

Waje has also removed Tom’s name and contact from her social media accounts as Tom also removed both Waje and Wizkid’s name from his Twitter page.

Wizkid earlier parted ways with former EME artiste manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe, who is now with Darey’s Soul Musik.

How do i tell a Potential Suitor about my "Very Ugly Past"?

I have had a troubled past I am totally ashamed of right now. It's full of terrible things I did when I was still in the university and living my life to the fullest because I believed - You Only Live Once.  

I was just totally messed up. I was living in the moment when all that happened. I wasn't even thinking about having to explain it later. But I've turned a new leaf now, the things I did won't happen again but how can I ever be open with a man about the extent of my past? 

I was among the girls rich men used to pull up in school to take out. I was sexually adventurous, had a threesome one time, and a couple of one night stands. I always used protection anyway. Had an abortion. My grades went from straight As to Cs and Ds. Had to do what I had to do to pass some courses I had already failed. I eventually came out with a 2.2. I even cheated on a faithful boyfriend.

People say honesty in a relationship is key. I haven't started a new relationship with anyone yet but I'm freaked out about what to say should a man ask me questions about my past. I have regrets. I'm afraid people that used to know me will even sabotage me by telling guys about my past if I don't tell these men these things by myself.

Captains of industries and Government officials were in a flux and fight to enter the hall which was barricaded by stern security men at the International Conference Centre.The protocol is that once the President enters the hall; the doors are shut and no one gets in or out till the President leaves. So, there was a scramble to enter. Me sef shame for some people. Chai! There were rumpled and creased clothes on people after the scamble. A couple of ladies lost their headscarves and headties and gave us shocking glimpses of their ‘Abolo’ heads! Chai!The President’s Security detail at the venue were stern but professional. They didn’t give a hoot who you were. Orders are orders. Everyone who entered; those that mattered wanted to be seen by the President or First Lady and a small line of diffident favour-seekers or friends was formed but many could not pass through the security detail to just greet Mr President.Let me shock you guys a bit. The biggest critics of President Jonathan, the opposition parties or cliques, the rabble-rousers and all were mostly there at the wedding! I was shocked! Ehn! Politicians! That’s how they deceive you all by crying wolf and abusing the President yet they run to him to prostrate at night or in private!Those of you who follow blindly these people una go see! Be careful!I even saw Dele Momodu, who lambasts President Jonathan every week for the past four years on Thisday backpage on Saturday, taking pictures and going round shaking hands. He shook my hands too. Egbon! Look, in politics there are no permanent friends or enemies: just permanent interests!I must hand it to GEJ, he shielded his family from public glare. I mean; how many of us know he has three biological children and three adopted with this new bride being an adopted child he took in about 15 years ago? Very touching.The couple got gifts of over 60 brand new cars as presents from what a close source told me. ‘Bastardly rich’ Nigerians fell over themselves to give presents. Chai! There was a group of orange-scarved women who caused a stampede in the hall after the wedding rushing for gifts and stuff! Wetin? People nor get shame? More Update; Death Toll rises to about 300 as explosion rocks Nyanya bus park, Abuja.

Initial reports had it that over 50 people have been involved in an explosion in a popular motor park in outskirts of the Nigerian capital, Abuja. Reports coming in are the death toll has risen to about 200 with more struggling in the hospital. But eyewitnesses are saying the death toll should be around 300.
The explosion sounded in a highly populated motor park in Nyanya less than five minutes drive from the Abuja city Centre.
It is not clear yet how the bomb was ferried into the park, but witnesses suspect it was planted by a suicide bomber. A bus driver who says he lost his brother was able to talk. He explained that while he was able to escape, he thinks the bomb was either planted or the suicide bomber must have died with them. He explained that as he left the scene, he saw people lining up to enter the bus and they all entered before the bus exploded and he was able to disappear.
Several dead bodies now litter the blood spattered park and the expressway leading to the city.
Some of the dead victims and the injured are being taken to over 67 hospital by ambulances and vans belonging to the police, the Vehicle Inspection Office, Federal Road Safety Commission, the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps and the National Emergency Management Agency.

Lots of the people who are in the hospital have lost limbs, ruptures stomachs and vital parts of their bodies. These survivors according to eyewitnesses were luck because they were in the larger buses but those in the small buses were killed in the explosion.

Eyewitnesses also claim there might have been another explosion at another part of Abuja. No group has claimed carrying out the explosion yet but very many people are already blaming the dreaded Boko Haram sect.
