Saturday Joel, a 35-year-old Customs officer was shot dead by a colleague at Seme border yesterday. According to an eyewitness, while the Customs officials at Seme border were trying to apprehend a driver smuggling a Volkswagen bus from Benin Republic into Nigeria, one of the officers fired a gunshot which accidentally hit Joel and he died on the spot. How sad... RIP Joel...
