Terry G was attacked by armed robbers on Sunday The 6th of October 2013, on his way to an event in Lagos. The robbers took his phones, money and some valuables without hurting him.
A statement released by his management reads;
"We tried to keep it secret, but we have to say it out now. GZUS (Terry G) was attacked on Sunday by heavily armed robbers on his way to an event. We thank God they just collected his valuables. Though they later recognized him, but they didn't return the valuables. We thank God for life, protection and guardian."
