Burna Boy Banned From The UK For 15 Years, To Leave Aristokrat Records Soon

Nigerian singer 'Burna Boy' has been described by those who know him well as ‘Talented’ but ‘uncontrollable’.
And from an investigation carried out by TheNet.ng, Burna's ‘uncontrollable’ mannerism and persona didn’t just start yesterday. It even got him a ban from the UK for the next 15 years.
According to TheNet.ng, their investigations and sources have linked Burna to a criminal past, a period of his life he would rather not make public knowledge!
They are told on good authority that while in the UK back in 2010, Burna Boy was arrested by London Police for allegedly being part of a gang and stabbing someone to death. He was tried as a minor and sent to jail.

After 11 months, he was released and given two months parole plus community service on the grounds of being of ‘good behaviour’.
But Burna is said to have disobeyed authorities and travelled back to Nigeria where he signed a record deal with Aristokrat. He later travelled back to the UK but was arrested at the airport and deported to Nigeria.
He is currently barred from the UK for the next 15 years.
Meanwhile, Netng has also confirmed that Burna Boy, at the end of 2013, will leave his record label Aristokrat Records. He is already looking at launching his own company at the start of 2014. Problem reportedly started when Burna boy's debut album ‘L.I.F.E’ dropped in August 2013.
Burna Boy wasn’t pleased with the way the label handled the marketing and release of the album. Currently, he has moved out of the house provided for him by the label in Lekki Phase 1 and relocated to house in Chevron Estate also in Lekki, Lagos.
Burna has also extricated himself from them and now handles his career with a former label employee who now only answers to him (Burna). Burna is currently managed by his mother Bose Ogulu. Unfortunately, insiders say there are issues with his new management structure. We’re told his minders fumbled a recent deal with Guinness, asking for a 200 per cent increase in a proposed endorsement deal fee. They never got it and Burna was taken off.

We are also told that Globacom, the telecoms company that handed him a mouth-watering deal earlier in the year are not willing to extend his contract after his one-year deal lapses.

Burna is currently managed by his mother Bose Ogulu who is the daughter of Benson Idonije, a veteran broadcaster and highlife critic who once managed Afrobeat creator Fela Anikulapo-Kuti.

On Saturday night the Hennessy Artistry 2013 club tour took place at the Federal Palace Hotel with artistes Burna Boy, Wande Coal, May D, 2face, D’Banj and so on. With Burna boy who started with some Fela tunes got ushered in By 2face  and Dbanj calling up Beverly on stage to give a very funny but sexual performance.Also at the event were Mick of BBA, Bassey, Dayo of Hip Tv, and others.  
In the video documentary of  Dayo Dane’s night titled ‘D’ Real Deal’ featuring Vector, Karen Igho and more; was the eye catching performance of D’Banj most especially when he invited Beverly Ada Osu to join him on stage. Watch video below.

Timaya’s ‘Ekaloma Demba’ topples Burna Boy off MTV Base official Naija Top 10

Burna Boy’s “Run My Race” has been knocked off top spot by Timaya’s “Ekaloma Demba” after enjoying the position for about two straight weeks. The program which is powered by Star Music had Rhythm FM’s celebrity OAP Toke Makinwa join the host Vj Ehis as guest for this week. They both went through the songs critically with different form of analysis and at the end, Timaya finally knocked Burna’s “Run My Race” out to take top spot with his song “Ekaloma Demba.” Olamide’s “Durosoke” went down a spot from number 7 to 8 while Illbliss and Dj Exclusive went up a spot to number 7 and number 3 respectively.

awwww.... so Burna boy according to eye witness slapped, poured a drink on & humiliated a young girl that sells movie tickets at Silverbird Cinema.
The situation was bad that cops had to be invited..... eeyah... poor girl. He even tweeted himself at him having bad time.
