"Why I Murdered my Father"- Redeemer's University Undergrad Explains.

Well, i just had to finally post it. I got the news on sunday but i wanted to figure out why he would kill his father. I hear from a reliable source he was expelled days before the incident for drugs. His name Tolani Ajayi aged 21 years. You must have read the story of how he hacked his father,a lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria, sliced his corpse and dumped the remains in a box..According to Premium Times,Tolani said his father provoked him by beating him with a stick; and that he needs no help from Nigerians. Read his tale below.

There is no way Nigerians can help me. I am going to face my judgement. I am meant to pay for what I have done. It is not as if I am ready, it is something that is inevitable – something that is going to happen; I am just waiting for it.“My mother is still grieving. I have sent some people to talk to her that I am sorry. I want to give her time. I have talked to my sister. I have asked for forgiveness,”
When asked whether he had been under the influence of drugs, the suspect confessed that he took drugs but denied being under the influence on the day of the murder. He said his action was not planned.
Tolani said his father was the one that first went to the kitchen to get a wooden spoon which he used to hit him repeatedly. He confessed that he actually used a kitchen knife and cutlass to attack his father
“I tried to defend myself, then he bit me on my shoulder and I got angry. I used normal small kitchen knife then I used a cutlass to attack him. I regret the action,”
“The incident happened around 1 a.m. when the church would have been sleeping by then. It was anger that led me to this. There was an argument between us and I stood up to him. He beat me with a stick and bit me with his teeth repeatedly. Just the two of us were at home; my mother was in Abuja,”

Tolani said it his family resides in Abuja while he lived at the Redeemed Church, RCCG, camp.

“My father came for a programme; then, my school was on break so I went to meet him. We were meant to go back to Abuja together then the incident happened and I am here,”
He told journalists that contrary to previous reports, the altercation was not based on his church attendance.

“I didn’t miss church throughout this semester. I never missed church for once. It is not about the church.”

Explosion Hits Kurudu Abuja. Residents Panic.

A loud explosion was heard this morning in Kurudu, a community on the outskirts of Abuja. The cause of the explosion is still unclear but some resident says it's from a rock. The explosion has caused panic in Kurudu, Jikoyi and other adjoining areas as residents scampered for safety.
According to the spokesperson of the Nigerian Army, Olajide Olaleye, the explosion was a “controlled blast.” He said a rock had been blocking a new road being constructed from Karishi to Apo, in the Abuja city centre and it was blasted with dynamites to free the road and allow construction to continue.

“The situation is under control,” the spokesperson said, advising residents to be calm.

Some residents were still held up in their homes at 9:50 a.m. amidst fear that the explosion was caused by a bomb. Kurudu is a few kilometres from Nyanya, where bomb explosions about a month ago killed about 100 people.

Bianca Ojukwu Replies Family Members: These people claiming I never got married to their son were at the wedding

Many people have been talking, Bianca has been quiet but she has finally opened up to Sun News on her late husbands' family claim that their son never married her and her children are not for her late husband Ojukwu..

Excerpt:
I think that is laughable because my marriage first and foremost, which took place at Our Lady’s Queen of Nigeria Catholic Church in Abuja, was a celebrated ceremony with ‘who is who in Nigeria’ in attendance. The reception was at the Hilton. In fact, it had a glittering galaxy of Nigerians, most of them are still alive today.
And what is interesting about this ridiculous assertion is that those that are making the assertion or asking me to bring proof of my marriage with their brother were present at the wedding in Abuja, and present at the wine-carrying at Ngwo, and even dressed in the uniform depicting their family outing.
All the pictures are there to prove it, the video is there to prove it, you can look at the pictures yourself. Look at this picture, you can see Senator Pius Anyim, you can see Governor Rochas Okorocha, all of them came to Ngwo.
So, for people to wake up and start suffering from selective amnesia just because there are cases in court where property and who gets what is concerned is ridiculous.
The fact remains that I was married to their brother at the registry, at the church and traditionally in my father’s compound. I remain the only woman that Ikemba married or went through these three forms of marriages with, I’m the only one, and it is on record.
Therefore, for them to wake up and decide that what happened never happened, I  believe it is really unfortunate for them because there is no iota of truth in that assertion and it does not depict them in favorable light because they were there.

*Sigh: "Ruggedman is a nonsensical element and bad person" Promoter Ejiro Okhipwo fires back

Have you read Ruggedman's accusations about Abuja based promoter  Ejiro Okhipwo? Well,he  Ejiro responded in an interview with Tatafonaija. You would see Ryggedman's  part below. One of those long stories you should support yourself with something cold to drink.
Here is his side of the story

Ruggedman: CALLED ME: begging to be on the event list of awardees and performance with his so called backup singer on a faithful day. We accepted he should attend the event as an award winner and also do a performance for his fans. In this said informal agreement we on our own side are expected to do him a to and fro air ticket from Lagos for two persons, him and his so call backup singer, hotel accommodation, and feeding for the time they will be staying.

We sent him the tickets reference number(ZYRBRL-Aero contractors) and he came into Abuja on Friday the 25th of October 2013 and was picked up from the airport without delay. He was also checked into a classic hotel (Top Rank Galaxy Hotel,2 rooms) alongside other celebrities as agreed, with food and drinks on ground for him to enjoy a day before the event. But unfortunately for us ruggedman refused to pick calls placed to him to get the N100.000 agreed upon by the two parties. In fact, Him ruggedman went ahead to even show some other artistes that also came for the event with him in the same hotel we kept him, that see, see, see the organizers of the event are calling me I will not pick, I will make them suffer since they have refused to see me since yesterday when I arrived, we really wondered why our own ruggeedman would wish to disgrace himself over a N100. 000 ONLY. At least we expected that he picks his calls and we talk on how he wants the payment to come to him, if we can invite all the Nollywood acts, artistes and comedians like him why should we not want to pay him a little amount of N100.000 ONLY.

Mr Ejiro, what are your final words
RUGGEDEMAN IS REALLY A VERY BAD PERSON THAT’S WHY HE HAS NOT BEEN ABLE TO WRITE ANY GOOD SONG AGAIN. He will continue to go down as far as we are concern and this is because he is no more an A CLASS artist and we went ahead
to invite him to be awarded JUST TO HELP HIM BACK ON HIS FEET AS A FORMER TOP GUNNER IN MUSIC but what we have received from him was him trying to insult our personality by putting up a very inciting news with the name of the MBGA event on the net.
We are very sorry for him because he is going to pay the MBGA for all damages he has caused the event. He was abandoned at the hotel in Abuja after the event because he refused to perform his own part of the informal agreement as an artiste so he shouldn't expect the MBGA to pay for his fair back to Lagos.
He is a very nonsensical  element and should be treated as such. This same ruggedman stayed in that same hotel on our bills from Friday a day to the event to Monday two days after the event. So we told the hotel to check him out once its 12noon on Monday the 28th of October 2013.

Rugged man will hear from us very soon, our lawyers will serve him for damages and he will pay from his nose but its funny the unfortunate thing is that even if he’s sued he doesn't have a dime to pay the MBGA. He is a poor rat that should be down trying to be up again but contrary is the case because he decided to bite the finger that feed him.
He keeps fighting all the days of his life because he is a bad person, we appeal to all our fans to be clam and be good. Better things are still on the way for us all. We have decided to move Nigeria to the next level and the likes of ruggedman can never put the MBGA down. He is down as an artist and that remains his business.

HOWEVER RUGGEDMAN I FORGIVE U GO AND BEG GOD FOR HIS FORGIVENESS STOP TRYING TO HUMILIATE ME AS A PROMOTER, THE TRUTH IS THAT YOU SHOULD NOT USE ME AS A PROMOTER TO PROMOTE YOUR NEW ALBUM.

After the interview we asked if we could put up his number, so he could confirm the story himself, he obliged  For more information you can call the organizer himself Mr Ejiro of the event on 08034523698.

For those who missed Ruggedman's memo,.read below
I do not know why i always want to help out. I guess its my nature but it gives room for a ot of people to take advantage and repay my good with evil. It has happened once too many and i am tired of it and this Ejiro Okhipwo will not go unexposed for the fraudster/trickster that he is.
He is the promoter of the so called most beautiful girl pageant in Abuja,so i was told when i met him a few months ago while in the middle of a messed up promoters event,i guess they know each other smh. We became friends and i agreed to make an appearance at his October 26th event in Abuja for an honourarium of 100k penre, all for promoting my artist o. Na there i enter one chance.
1. He delayed till the Friday before his event to get in touch with me and pleaded to pay 50k into my account to balance off as soon as we landed Abuja. As a good person i agreed, since i had already given my word.
2. By 3.30pm no bank alert and i thought he was trying to wait till 4pm when banks would have closed to say "we have paid the money, but i guess they didd not post it in time thats why you havent gotten the alert". So i called and asked that the person with the cash should be waiting for us at the airport.
Thinking i was dealing with a rational human being,i decided to head to Abuja so that it wont be said that i refused to come because of the lean change he did not send.

LANDED ABUJA 8:30PM and no cash at the airport,no Ejiro Okhipwo either. We proceeded to the hotel where we stayed until the next day. No welfare,i had to take care of everything from my pocket o (make hungry no kill us where we dey wait for useless people in Jesus name...).

SATURDAY 5:00PM still no word or the presence of Ejiro Okhipwo but someone called fuja who works for him brought two packs into my room. On opening it i found some cold, milkless, sugarless oatmeal. The second pack contained boiled yam, under friend plantain under baked beans LWKMD. I wondered if it was breakfast, lunch or both....at 5PM O. The event was slated to start by 7pm and by 6pm i sent Ejiro Okhipwo a BB message that i will not leave the hotel room if he doesnt pay what was agreed because i was already suspecting foul play. No response and we lounged till the next day.

SUNDAY: hotel management informs us that Ejiro Okhipwo said everyone should check out of the hotel by 12noon. We called him only for him to send me txt messages that "i am heartless for not coming to his show and will fuck me up" LMAO!!! A show that he did not pay the lean honourarium "we" agreed to? The deal was to pay before i leave Lagos,i even managed to get to Abuja and he did not have the courtesy to come see us? Even if he did not have the money to pay,i have done loads of free shows for small time promoters like him. His would not have killed me.Now here he was threatening to fuck me up. I laughed so hard.
A few people i know called him and he kept bragging and threatening (over the phone) that he will deal with me and fuck me up.

Finally: Mr Ejiro Okhipwo i have been in Abuja since then and i have not seen you let alone getting fucked up by you (if i hear).

I have even had enough time to apply for and get visas for me and my artist and yet we havent seen you.
Desmond, your PAs friend was involved in an accident and suffered internal bleeding while driving artists who came for your event and when you were told all you said was "its none of your business". God will forgive you.

The girls you brought from Lagos who worked for you and you ran off without paying them or giving them transport fare to go back will never forgive you.

The babe (name witheld) you brought from Lagos and you abandoned her in the hotel (because she no give you do) will never forgive you.

Mr Ejiro Okhipwo of most beautiful girl in abuja,so many people speak ill of you and i pray to God that you change your evil ways. I wont say its because you are short (short man devil) because i know a lot of great short men. I guess you think you are smart and can use and abandon people, but you are far from smart. Your days are numbered and karma is a bitch.

You keep saying commissioners are your friends, the IG is your friend. So? They are not above the law and will not stoop as low as to support your stupid antics. The same IG that is against crime? He will probably end up locking you up.

I wrote this so people and especially fellow artists should beware of the moronic abuja entertainment fraudster called Ejiro Okhipwo. If you must work with him (at your own risk) COLLECT ALL YOUR MONEY and RETURN TICKETS before you fly to Abuja, because you might not see him after the event and dont be surprised if he threatens to fuck you up lol!!!

ENTERTAINERS STAY AWAY FROM EJIRO OKHIPWO,he is not to be trusted. I am speaking from experience

BBC Insults Nigeria In New Article -'Abuja: Nigeria's Unfinished Capital Built on Stolen Land'

Read the article below. It was written by Alex Preston:
When one of Nigeria's long line of military rulers, General Olusegun Obasanjo, seized the land on which Abuja was to be built in the late 1970s, he could hardly have imagined that the city would remain unfinished 35 years on.
Abuja has a makeshift, haphazard feel to it: A place of bureaucrats and building sites, its streets eerily empty after the buzz of Lagos or the enterprising bustle of Kano.
It is one of the most expensive cities in Africa, and one of the most charmless.

Old-style homes with straw roofs next to new building under construction in Abuja

The skyline is dominated by the space-rocket spires of the National Christian Centre and the golden dome of the National Mosque, facing each other pugnaciously across a busy highway at the city's centre.
Its other striking landmark is the vast construction site of the Millennium Tower, which, if it is ever completed, will be Nigeria's tallest building.
The skyscraper was intended to mark Abuja's 20th birthday in 2011. Now delayed until who-knows-when, hugely over-budget and the subject of numerous official investigations.

The National Mosque, Abuja

The National Mosque stands at the side of a busy road in the city centre
All the people of Abuja have to show for the billions invested in the project are two stunted fingers of scaffold-clad concrete.
I had been in Abuja for three days - about two-and-a-half too many - when my friend, Atta, a sociologist, picked me up from my hotel.
We drove out towards Aso Rock, the monolith looming over the presidential palace.
On either side of the road there are complexes of bulky, imposing mansions, most of them unfinished.
Some had empty swimming pools; others had mock-Tudor timbering, but were windowless and often roofless.
Atta told me that 65% of the houses in these developments were uninhabited, put up only to launder Abuja's dirty money.
Like the Millennium Tower, these grandiose schemes are ruins before they are completed, bleak monuments to a city built by kleptocratic politicians on stolen land.
We pulled off the Murtala Mohammed Highway at Mpape Junction, and immediately the road deteriorated.

Aso Rock

"I am going to show you the real Abuja," Atta told me, as his car struggled up a deeply-rutted dirt track.
A warm wind from the desert to the north - the Harmattan - whipped clouds of red dust around us as we climbed through rocky scrubland into the hills.
People began to appear on the streets - men carrying ancient Singer sewing machines, women balancing baskets on their heads.
We entered a vast shanty-town of shacks with corrugated iron roofs, slums stacking to the horizon.
Nissan minivans scuttled past - they are called "One Chance" buses, as they barely stop on their manic journeys through these uncharted streets.
Crowds thronged between skinny cows, beneath posters advertising beaming televangelists.
Dance music blared out, interrupted by a muezzin's call to prayer. Bright-eyed children kicked footballs about.
This was the home of the Gwari people, the original inhabitants of the land where the capital was built.
Hundreds of thousands of them were summarily evicted in the 1970s, and now scrape a living in the hills.

Gwari people crossing road

Many of the original owners of the land around Abuja are now living in poverty
Abuja is itself a Gwari word and, although the city of generals and politicians below us had barely 700,000 inhabitants, two or three million people live in these shanty towns, many of them Gwari.
The Gwari people continue to fight for compensation for the land wrested from them by the Obasanjo government, land now worth more per square kilometre than almost anywhere else in Africa.
We got out and walked through the smoke and dust towards a row of shacks.
In one of them, a woman knelt on the ground plucking a chicken, a man above her leaning on a makeshift bar.
They were Frank and Mary, Gwari people in their thirties, children of one of the thousands of families originally evicted during the foundation of Abuja.
The four of us sat in the shack sipping Fantas, staring out at the swarming life of the shanty town: Motorbikes and cattle and people, all of them through a veil of reddish dust.
"I trained as an architect," Frank told me. "I have an education. But I do not have money, I don't know the right people. So I work here with my sister. In Abuja, money defines everything."
I ask him about the empty mansions lining the roads into the city.
"That is pseudo-Abuja, a false place. It's unjust - we should be living in those houses. Instead…" He gestured to the squalid lean-to that jutted from the back of the bar.
Mary looked up from her chicken. "Life here is difficult," she says.
"Often we can't see across the street because of the smoke and dust. If it rains, you can't move for the mud. But we pray hard."
Thick dust and smoke often fill the streets
Frank pulled out a CD. It was Fela Kuti's Suffering and Smiling.
"This," Frank said, as the music coiled out from an ancient hi-fi, "is the compressed statement of Nigerian society. We suffer, but we smile. Nothing will change until we get angry, until we stop smiling."
A storm was coming in, red clouds rolling overhead and thunder crackling down the valleys.
Frank and Mary stood waving to us, the music playing still, as we drove off down the hill, towards pseudo-Abuja.

How Nollywood Actor Mike Ezeruonye Got 3 plots Of Land In Abuja For Being Nice To An Elderly Woman

He wrote his experience with an elderly woman on his Facebook wall. Read and learn.

“There was this day I was traveling to Abuja to shoot a movie and I got into the aircraft and met this woman, she was older than my mother. As I made to put my bag in the overhead compartment, I greeted her but she didn’t answer me. I just ignored her and sat down. On arrival in Abuja, the woman was struggling to get her luggage from the compartment and I just stretched my hand and helped her to get it.
She asked for it without a thank you but I refused to give it to her, offering to help her take it down. On getting out of the aircraft, she again requested for her luggage but I said, madam I’ll take it to the arrival hall for you and she looked at me with bewilderment.   When we got to the arrival hall I turned to the woman and handed her luggage to her and as I made to leave, she called me by my name. I was surprised and retorted, so madam you even know my name. But why did you not answer me when I greeted you on board the aircraft....
She then said, Mike, I’ve come across a lot of your Nolly-wood mates and they seem to be pigheaded so that is why I always want to distant myself from them.” I just smiled and told her I’m not like that.   She asked where I was going and I felt she wanted me to ride with her into town. I told her I was in Abuja to shoot a movie. I then turned to leave but some four or five policemen who must have come to pick her told me to wait. I said what’s my own, I’ve helped her to this place and I want to go. They however insisted that I should wait. I didn’t really know who the woman was but the long and short of it all was that she ended up giving me three plots of land in Abuja.”
#Lesson learnt!! It pays to be nice.
