"Why I Murdered my Father"- Redeemer's University Undergrad Explains.

Well, i just had to finally post it. I got the news on sunday but i wanted to figure out why he would kill his father. I hear from a reliable source he was expelled days before the incident for drugs. His name Tolani Ajayi aged 21 years. You must have read the story of how he hacked his father,a lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria,sliced his corpse and dumped the remains in a box..According to Premium Times,Tolani said his father provoked him by beating him with a stick; and that he needs no help from Nigerians. Read his tale below.

There is no way Nigerians can help me. I am going to face my judgement. I am meant to pay for what I have done. It is not as if I am ready, it is something that is inevitable – something that is going to happen; I am just waiting for it.“My mother is still grieving. I have sent some people to talk to her that I am sorry. I want to give her time. I have talked to my sister. I have asked for forgiveness,”
When asked whether he had been under the influence of drugs, the suspect confessed that he took drugs but denied being under the influence on the day of the murder. He said his action was not planned.
Tolani said his father was the one that first went to the kitchen to get a wooden spoon which he used to hit him repeatedly. He confessed that he actually used a kitchen knife and cutlass to attack his father
“I tried to defend myself, then he bit me on my shoulder and I got angry. I used normal small kitchen knife then I used a cutlass to attack him. I regret the action,” 

“The incident happened around 1 a.m. when the church would have been sleeping by then. It was anger that led me to this. There was an argument between us and I stood up to him. He beat me with a stick and bit me with his teeth repeatedly. Just the two of us were at home; my mother was in Abuja,” 

Tolani said it his family resides in Abuja while he lived at the Redeemed Church, RCCG, camp.

“My father came for a programme; then, my school was on break so I went to meet him. We were meant to go back to Abuja together then the incident happened and I am here,”
He told journalists that contrary to previous reports, the altercation was not based on his church attendance.

“I didn’t miss church throughout this semester. I never missed church for once. It is not about the church.”

Guessing Davido is still hurt by what people think as regards his father being his reason for blowing. He granted an interview with punch where he said how Wizkid is not a threat to him, Skelewu is already big and some people are just starting out at 30 but he is already a success and threat at 20. 

“Wizkid is not a rival. I see nobody as competition or threat. God is behind me, so I just go into the studio, do my music and everything is fine. I develop and write most of my songs in the studio. I’m not afraid of competition or the fact that some person will just appear on the scene and take the shine. "Yes my father is rich, but the truth is some people only knew who he was after I released my song, ‘Omo Baba Olowo’. I want people to know that the song was not a hit because of my father but because it was dope. I didn’t sing ‘OBO’ because of my father’s wealth – contrary to what people think. My father and family always keep me grounded. They call me from time to time to ask about my welfare. My father actually visits all these blogs to read and see all my nonsense. Just like the typical Yoruba father, he scolds me and whenever he does that, I will say, ‘Daddy cool down, what’s going on, relax.’ Although he is also very proud of me, he is scared and happy for me at the same time.”

Enugu State Gov Sullivan Chime Places Wife Under House Arrest , She Cries Out For Help!

Clara Chime, the First Lady of Enugu State, is at the moment crying out for assistance to reach human rights bodies to come to her rescue as her husband, Governor Sullivan Chime, has placed her under house arrest!

 In a letter dripping with pain and suffering which was sent to SaharaReporters, Mrs. Chime disclosed that she married Mr. Chime in October 2008 but that she has been unable to share the matrimonial

bed with him for over four years.

 Describing her desperate situation, Mrs Clara Chime said that even President Goodluck Jonathan and First Lady Patience Jonathan have intervened with her husband without success.

“My father is late, my Mum and few of my siblings are confused and have done all kinds of prayers they know of, 3 of my siblings prefers me dead than to see me leave the Government house.  He treats my mum and my siblings bad,” she wrote.

The Enugu State First Lady said she has been introduced to two psychiatrists whose names she gave as Dr. Onwukwe and Dr. Agumo, who have prescribed “all kinds of drugs that ends up keeping me acute depressed and also drives me into hallucinations.” The doctors, she noted, are scared of her husband the Governor, to whom nobody can tell the truth.  According to the letter, the Catholic Bishop of Enugu State (Callistus Onaga), and top priests have come to intervene, as have the President and the First Lady of the nation, without success. Mrs. Chime further complains that Governor Chime has ordered her to leave with her four-year old son whom she conceived before their wedding.  

However, the governor, according to her, later threatened to disown the boy should she leave with him.

“He has told everyone he can reach that there is no marriage between us that I can leave if I wish to but whenever I plan to leave, he instructs them to lock me in.   

I have told him through sms that I will leave my son behind and leave alone but still he instructed his securities to lock me inside the house.”

Mrs. Chime further complains she has lost touch with the real world and all that makes her beautiful because of the side effects of the drugs she is taking, stressing that she is under house arrest for committing no crime.  

Of the situation in Government House, she said in the letter:

“He does not take care of me personally, the government gives me allowance to run the house and that's where I save little from to take care of my self, my mum and few of my siblings.  

He shut me out of his life years ago; I don't have access to his apartment. The problem is enormous; I don't know where to start to explain from.”

She said that even the security detail in the lodge has resorted to praying for her, while the few that can be bought with money are taking advantage of the situation. 

Mrs Chime said, begging:

Police and SS men have been instructed by Sullivan Chime to confine me in a place for a long time now against my wish [but] it is my wish to leave these premises. Please assist me to reach to the human rights and say to them to please come hastily and release me.”

"Being a father changed my lifestyle"- Terry G

In an interview with PUNCH, the Benue state born singer talked about how being a father changed his lifestyle. 

"Having a kid has a lot to do with my new lifestyle. Sometime you see life in a different way. You perceive it in another way another time. When I had a kid, I saw so much value in my life and future. I became humbled and developed the mindset that anything that has to do with my future must automatically involve my son as well. I started changing a lot of things and it actually scared a lot of negative friends from me. It helped me resolve and reorganize myself again." He said

Davido Explains It All In This New Interview (Read Up)

In this very recent interview with Nigerian Tribune, Davido got to talk about his music, how he rose to the top, his tattoos, the young girls he's been caught on cameras with and his dad's wealth of course.
Excerpts:
You’ve achieved fame within such a short period of time. How were you able to do that?
God has had my back, always. It’s all God’s doing. From my single back then, He had said it was my time; and so I kept doing my thing, working hard, spending more time working on the music and sampling all kinds of sounds. That’s how it came about.
Before you became a big shot, what were those days of humble beginnings in the industry like?
They weren’t easy – having to prove that you could do this, or that you could be big and sell records, and then not having people believe you or want to take a chance.
I had some rough periods of even hungry days in the studio. Sometimes you got broke, but still just found one way or the other to pull through. I had plenty rough times.
What were your childhood days like?
I had a regular childhood. A whole lot of play and school, sometimes the play would just centre around music.

How did your dad feel about your decision to become a recording artiste?
He didn’t like it at first; but eventually a man understands a man’s need to do his thing and make a name for himself.
Did you drop out of school because you wanted to pursue your musical career?
Who says I dropped out? I’m in my third year in school.
How do you combine your music with your studies successfully? Has building a profession in music affected your studies in anyway?
It’s not been easy, but it’s working one way or the other. Being madly busy is not easy to cope with when you are studying; but it has no choice but to work out.
Why did you decide to go into music?
I was always going to do music as soon as I discovered my flair for it and I was working on sounds too in a studio and some of my friends used to say that I should just try doing my own thing. So, I took it up when I realised that I could actually make some decent sounds. I’ve always nurtured dreams of performing live, so it just had to be done.
Which musicians inspire you?
TuFace, PSquare and the Koko Master (Dbanj). Those guys are really something. The big things they’ve done in this industry are unforgettable. So, that’s my drive as well – to (make) a serious impact.
You travel a lot. Does your girlfriend not complain?
(Laughs) If you know say I get, and you sabi am, go ask am.
You mean you are not dating anyone now?
No.
You must have a lot of ladies trying to get your attention. How has the reception from your female fans been like?
 It’s crazy, coupled with the fact that I am young and with girls in my age group too. Here in Africa and in Europe, the female fan base is wild. I really appreciate it. When guys are feeling you while you perform and also the girls are gingered and sometimes crazier about you, it’s cool.
We have had pictures of you in bed with various kinds of ladies. How has that affected your career?
If it has had any big effect on my career, I’m not sure I know about it, because I am still doing my thing and God still has my back. God did not allow some random act of one person who felt like fooling around to now spoil my career or ruin my image.
Shebi they wanted to snap me (take my photograph)? They ‘snapped me’ and went their way…and my life goes on. That’s it.
What deals, endorsements, shows or recognition have you got that were quite memorable for you?
MTN of course. My first advert for MTN Pulse was a big deal for me. It was a great thing to be part of. Also, my shows all over Nigeria and performing in different states make me unable to decide which one is my favorite, seriously.
You perform in a state and get mad love from the crowd; and then the next state is even crazier. And that’s how it just keeps going. So, my high points are those moments when my fans show dedication, and show me love like ‘Ah, you be our guy; you be our man, you know?
Which musicians do you dream of working with internationally?
It won’t be bad working with Pitbul, David Guetta, Sean Paul, and Nicki Minaj.
Your dad is wealthy and influential. Would you say his wealth has been a propelling factor in your career?
My father is wealthy, yes, and I am thankful to God for that. One way or the other, in my music career, there’s always a point where the gratitude goes to my father and always a point where my father’s wealth has been a useful factor. As for opening doors, well, maybe. But money is not everything and every part of it, behind the scenes of success is a lot of blood, sweat and tears.
If you were not a musician, what other career path would you have chosen?
Maybe a producer; but if you mean totally out of music, maybe one big businessman.
Reports say you were caught abroad spending fake money. How did that happen?
Go and ask the so called reporters whether na dem put fake currency for my hand. How does that even make sense? We were in Europe and spending good hard-earned money, even when the person we had a deal with was defaulting, and didn’t want to pay us.
So it was just some rubbish they cooked up to spoil our names, and get away with breaking our contract. But of course, we don pass that one, so na dem sabi.
What’s the most expensive thing you have ever pampered yourself with?
My house! But if that doesn’t count as pampering, then maybe one of my Rolexes that the price tag can give somebody ‘Apollo’.
You have so many tattoos. Are you just following the trend or you’re doing your own thing?
I feel the need to ink my skin, so I do it. Simple. It’s my desire and that’s all.
What’s the craziest thing you have ever done on stage?
(Laughs) Nothing too wild; I just kissed a girl from the stage.
Some of your fans complain that you don’t have strong lyrics but only project the elitist life?
It’s what we need to drive the sounds; those kinds of lyrics are what the industry, as it is, is moved by. I can decide now to bring out the deepest of my emotions through lyrics. And you know, they will say Davido is boring.
In your dull moments, what do you do to get back in line?
I just make a mad beat, or take a trip to somewhere of interest.
How do you relax?
I go to the most exotic resorts and lounges in any country I’m currently in. Then sometimes I like to just (relax) with my headphones and just jam for hours, undisturbed.

D'Banj Denies Having A Baby, Not To Talk Of BabyMama

 

While the owner of Famzin has claimed that Dbanj has a child somewhere and his baby mama appears to be one of the ladies in the picture above.  D'Banj and his team were reportedly not happy with that story and says it's all lies. TheNET.ng eventually got to pomp and plain ask D’banj if he is a father already, and D'Banj replied: ‘I do not have a child, so it is capital NO!'

 

Femi Kuti Talks About Being Sexually Active At 51

Femi Kuti was asked if he is still sexually active and here is what he had to say:

That is not true, I am no more sexually active. When you see a beautiful woman, when you reach my age and you have responsibility like myself, you  will know what I am talking about. Before now, as a young man, you would want to go after her. There are many nights I go and sleep alone not because I don’t have girlfriends or want a girlfriend, when I think of the responsibility I have  in my life, I will immediately have a rethink. The women in my life also have responsibilities. I can tell you that the mothers of  my  children, we stay together, we are very serious. You could say we are husband and wife but I don’t believe in marriage. I just don’t understand why one man will say I pronounce you man and wife, in that case. I pronounce myself man and wife. I am very different from my father but in a lot of ways like him. Like I couldn’t understand why he married 27 wives. When he married them, he divorced them. I didn’t have a problem with my father’s wives but my mother did.  When the problem started in Kalakuta, for us it was fun. Many things have changed. Of course I am very much sexually active but when I consider the problems my shoki has given me, it dies quickly.

STOWAWAY TEENAGER:"My In-laws are after me over government money" – Mother cries out.

You all remember the smart boy who probably got tired of Nigeria and decided to fly on the tyres of a Plane he thought was going to the US.... There have been developments...

13-year-old Daniel Oikhena has become popular and luck definitely has smiled on him probably not what he bargained for, all thanks to the attention he has been getting after he was caught hiding in tyre hole of Arik plane on the 24th of August.

Governor Adams Oshiomhole who had a interview with the boy & a meeting with the boy’s family discovered the boy wasn’t a threat but as a matter of fact intelligent. This prompted him into directing Women Affairs Ministry to take over his training in order to afford Daniel the opportunity to realize his life’s ambition.

Daniel’s mother Evelyn, had said the son wanted to fly a plane to America as a pilot. Daniel went back to school on Monday, 16 September after he was examined by doctors and a psychologist and was found to be sound. Seeing the boy now is more difficult than seeing a governor.

This is so because the state government had taken up the responsibility to ensure that he gets good education. Efforts to meet him to find out how he was preparing to go back to school were frustrated by the security around him.

The mother, madam Evelyn, is also not left out , according to her “It is even difficult for me to see him sometimes because he is undergoing some training that is being taken care of by the state government. I no longer have powers over him. It was even recently told that I cannot see him and i was not able to see him.

They decided to allow me see him because they were preparing him to go back to school. The only thing I can say now is that the father and his people are bothering my life. They think the state government gave me money and rather than think about the welfare of the boy, they think it is all about money. They accused me of saying my husband was sick or was even dead but I never said all that and God knows”.

But I thank God for his mercy and that is why it is painful, rather for the father to be grateful to God that the son survived in that aircraft, all they have been accusing me is money from government. I am just saying it because if anything happens to me, they should be held responsible since they want to kill me for something I know nothing about.

Right from day one, I have been running up and down about Daniel’s matter, none of them cared about what I went through with my children. My daughters are supposed to have gone back to school now but due to no money they have not gone back. Their father does not care about that and it is very sad really”.

Meanwhile, Sunday Vanguard saw Daniel on his first day at school on Monday. It was during their break period. Clad in sparkling white shirt and dark green short, the stowaway boy was seen with other students playing. Daniel is in JSS 1 and a boarding student. You can only watch Daniel from afar, you are not allowed to get close to him.

Other students were surrounding him. Apart from the plain clothes security operatives that were observed around him, his teachers were always around as if they were instructed to monitor him 24 hours. According to a top official of the school unless there was an instruction from the Edo Government House, no one is allowed to talk to him on the matter.

He said: “You know that he is a government son now; so the instruction is to ensure that he is well monitored both for security reason and his education. So it is difficult for anyone to speak with him. The idea is to ensure that he forget about what happened at the airport and concentrate in his studies and, so far, the boy is doing well.

We want him to catch up with all he has missed educationally because we understand he was in a private school before but due to no money he was almost becoming a dropout. Before he enrolled here we were told that he told government he prefers this school.

And that is why he was registered here. And if you look at our history, you will know that majority of the great men and women from this state attended this school, so the boy may be in another journey to glory here”.

It is said that Daniel has joined the league of those referred to as Oshiomhole’s children going by the situation around him. These children are about 20, in different schools, and enjoying sponsorship from governor. It was learnt that government officials have instructions to take care of the children who must enjoy the privileges accruing to the children of governor.
