Nollywood is boring.. Water business is the way forward, {Jim Iyke}

Star actor, Jim Iyke, speaks with JAYNE AUGOYE about his recent adventures
Getting Jim Iyke Esumogba for an interview has been a long chase. In-between movie sets abroad and running his foundation and some other business ventures, the actor has been busy.
The University of Jos graduate opens up on things close to his heart. Few know he was born in Gabon Libreville but not a few have dubbed him ‘Nollywood bad boy’. But love or hate him, he continues to stay afloat amidst several controversies.
While he admits that the controversies that usually trail him, were simply a creation of his public relations managers at the time, did pay off initially, it eventually spiralled out of control.
“I’ve heard that I deem myself something of a puppeteer and that I orchestrate these media maelstroms to maintain relevance and news. I wish I was that creative! The other side of the debate – the more discerning would argue – I’m a victim of PR machinery gone wrong. Perhaps my handlers in the earlier stages of my career saw a need to
create an unfathomable media being that was as audacious as the characters I played in films.
“It caught on. Caused quite a stir, then quickly spiralled out of control. There were days when I wondered if I could have done something about it; like a campaign to state I was a different person. But then, the media loved it too much. It sold millions of movies. It sold papers. It also sold my privacy and peace of mind. I struggled for years to understand what it was doing to my psyche, my relationships, my family, my spirituality, “he reveals.
On why he has been somewhat out-of-touch with Nollywood of late, he says he is simply seeking for new challenges. He says of Nollywood, “Nothing was challenging anymore. It was too easy and too perpetual. It was too boring and too predictable. I had no room to pursue or hone other skill sets I had. I didn’t have time for extra curriculums like hobbies, family, and friends, personal and social advancements. Something had to give! After all, I was the guy that made 38 films in a year,” he boasts.
With his reality TV Show, Jim Iyke Unscripted, which is set to run for the third season, he declares, “It is the biggest celebrity reality show on the continent with over 10 million viewers. We did 12 countries in season one, another 10 in two. It’s the story of a man’s journey through his eyes and his words .If for nothing, to whom It may concern, I would have gained perspective and hopefully a better understanding of the idiosyncrasy that rules my day.”
While Nollywood is said to be a major contributor to Nigeria’s GDP, Iyke says the feat is not translating to progress in the long run. “Ours, if it isn’t oil and politics, then it isn’t attainable. They tie up funds in bogus and outlandish conditions and make bold and futuristic propaganda-driven statements as to how it is accessible to every practitioner that simply has to ask for the taking.
“The sad part is that the practitioners do not even recognize the most basic of their fundamental rights. How can you ask, when you don’t understand what you’re asking for? The ones that do understand and fight to the helm of affairs are busy fighting each other and developing schemes to enrich their shallow pockets.”
And so will he ever consider vying for the presidency of the Actors Guild of Nigeria?
“I’ve had occasion where they tried to drag me into this unpredictable territory. I assure you categorically Nollywood politics holds no iota of interest for me.”
A conversation with the dark-skinned actor is incomplete without referring to his lover, Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari, whom he refers to as Skittles. Asked about the current status of the affair, he waxes philosophical, saying, “She (Nadia) is a solid down-to-earth woman. I’m a man that translates variables in ways many people find incomprehensible. We have embraced who we are and learnt to create our own world and expectations. We have ups and downs like every other couple.
“We have our strength and weakness as well. At the end of the day, rumours of break ups and make ups ought to abound. It really doesn’t matter. A relationship is a continuous work. Those that give up, perhaps weren’t committed enough. Those that go in for the long haul suck up and square up to the variables life throws at them. The people that judge harshly are obviously the ones that live far from their desired lives. We just live the best way we know how and leave the rest to the author and finisher of all things.”
The future is already looking good as far as Iyke is concerned. Having just featured in a Hollywood film in 2013, titled There Comes Love alongside Hollywood actors, Brian White and Gracie Beauvis, the actor is diversifying into other areas of interest already including water business.

"Jim Iyke is evil,he destroyed my Marriage""-Ini Edo's Husband's Ex,Ruth Okoro

Ruth Okoro is Ini Edo's husbands ex..Back then, she che claimed Ini Edo snatched her husband. Jim Iyke is suddenley having a lot of bad aura around him. The deliverance tho? Who has he offended now.? Well read Ruth's story below.
"In 2005 Jim Iyke started heating on me when I refused his advances and reported him to my husband, Philips Ehiagwina, now Ini Edo’s husband. Jim Iyke tried to talk me out of telling my husband and when I insisted he got upset and decided to set Emeka Ike up because Emeka Ike is the only person I confided in and when I was invited to Maryland to feature in a movie, alongside Keturah Hamilton, Emeka Ike was there and I always confided in him and asked questions. Emeka Ike and his wife Emma have been my friends for over 11 years now, I visited them when I visit Nigeria.
Jim Iyke made lofty promises to me trying to win my heart and he never expected me to say no so when I did he tried to convince me telling me that the man I claim to love so much and brought tothe United States has been cheating on me with everything in skirts. (Philips Ehiagwina) an Edo man I met in Nigeria in 1998 and sacrificed all to ensure he has a good life.Jim Iyke told me all that my husband was and is still doing to me in my absence, even got Ini Edo the actress pregnant.
At the moment, I have confirmed all Jim Iyke told me about my husband. One of my husband’s mistresses Nkiru who lives in Houston, Texas set him up after she found out that my husband betrayed his wife (me) and lied to me. She decided to set him up with an audio coverage and got every prove, he confessed about playing me for a green card on tape.
At d moment he has a case with the United States Immigration and the FBI is also on this
case. It is a very long story. I have decided to speak to the press and bring the truth to the table at this moment.
It’s very unfair that Jim Iyke who knows the truth but afraid to face it could be so callous to accuse an innocent person like Emeka Ike who has been nothing but a big brother to me since I’ve known him.
I was very upset about it and and fought for the truth. My husband met me as a virgin and took my virginity on a night of our honeymoon. for him to paint a bad picture of me simply because I reported his green card fraud to d FBI since he has refused to confide in me is something I never saw coming but I will fight to d end.
Jim Iyke has tried dating several girls just to obtain a green card, one of d girls he dated confessed that he tried to get her pregnant and when she said no Jim Iyke decided to spend her money with promises of everlasting love and then left her for another person. Now he is dating a Jamaican girl ( Keturah Hamilton) who just got her green card few months ago after marrying for a green card. She is also a male magazine model who strips naked for male magazines.
Those supporting Jim Iyke right now should know he destroyed my marriage. Jim Iyke is evil, very vicious. It was a good thing that he got exposed. Keturah Hamilton is a loser. She has no means of livelihood. She strips for clubs and that is. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Jim Iyke framed Emeka Ike and me up. Keturah Hamilton was there. Jim Iyke is a home wrecker, who just got served! He came back because Keturah just became an American citizen. It is all about getting a green Card.

The Cold War Between Stella Dimoko-Korkus, Linda Ikeji and Egor Effiok Continues... [Details]

Amebo time.... So top bloggers Stella Dimokokorkus, Linda Ikeji and Egor Effiok of  E4PR were once besties but it appears that they are now enemies abi frenemies..
Just like best friends do.. sharing secrets... "Dear secrets". Secrets like the gist of Linda being circumcised, which she told Stella and gave her approval to publish in Enconmium magazine. However, Linda denied ever giving Stella approval.
There were accusations that Linda was doing "runz" and how she has even bedded Actor Jim Iyke, and counter accusations that Stella was bedding her boss while in Nigeria (before she left for Germany), in addition to finger pointing that Stella's white husband were not the real father of her Kids! There were also harsh stories concerning Linda and Don Fosters relationship back then, which kept making rounds courtesy of gossiping friends...
These back biting were so bad that even former aviation minister, known or his controversies Femi Fani-Kayode, at a time was rumoured to have taken part in the digging for more dirty secrets to rub Stella's name in sh*t, as she has written several  posts revealing secrets about him!

With what I have read, the main centre of the "vexation" is the fact that Linda is always flaunting almost every new designer stuff she buys on Instagram which is not necessary (Her sister does the flaunting tho) and Mgbekeish according to Emmy Collins.  This warranted Egor Effiok to write a long story calling out Linda Yesterday and revealing harsh secrets about her the more.
See snapshots of the post below:

This afternoon Stella took to her blog and jumped on the bandwagon of raising dust, due to the fact that Egor mentioned her name in the article written about Linda, she also indirectly called out the warring ladies, warning that none of them should include her in their battle!
As it stands now, Linda Ikeji and Stella Dimoko-Korkus are sworn enemies. The friendship between both ladies have gone sour, so sour that Stella threatens to reveal more secrets in a time not too far about Linda!

For now, Linda in her own style is saying nothing while many believe she is going under anonymous to abuse people on blogs with the aid of her sister Laura the mouthpiece... Okay that's the gist.

And what this this is another publicity stunt.. *Sigh.

" I' m not engaged! You guys want to make a story out of nothing"- Nadia Buhari

Me I dunno where the gist came from but some days back I heard they said Jim Iyke proposed to Nadia Buhari. Oh well, Reacting to the rumors in an interview with Myjoyonline.com, Nadia dispelled the report, saying the media are always bent on making news out of nothing. Stretching her beautiful, delicate fingers to show some rings, she said,“When you look at these rings, I think there are three of the same kind of ring; so is this an engagement ring? I think you guys want to make a story out of nothing.”

Jim Iyke Never Fought Over $10,000 Or Pulled A Gun In Public - (Details Here)

So yesterday or thereabout, it went round that Jim Iyke had a fight with someone in Accra and tried pulling out a gun on a man. Contrary to this report, Nana Kwesi who invited Jim Iyke to the Cahaya lounge where the incident actually happened, has laughed at “how funny people twist and turn stories around'.
Talking to NigeriaFilms, Nana says the story about Jim Iyke fighting over $ 10, 000 was fabricated. There was an issue between Jim Iyke and his business partner (name not disclosed) at the Cahaya Lounge (just opposite ex-President J. J. Rawlings house) and not Crave CafĂ© as the media reported it.
The issue had nothing to do with Jim Iyke fighting over $ 10,000. Also, Jim Iyke never attempted to pull a gun."  Nana said he invited Jim Iyke to Cahaya Lounge to discuss a water treatment project with him - clean water and chemical treatment of water. When Jim Iyke got to Cahaya Lounge with his car and parked, another car drove in and parked just behind Jim Ike’s car.
The driver of the car after parking behind Jim, got out and started acting up.
He wanted to attack Jim Iyke but Jim's host, Nana, intervened, preventing the man.
The angry man went back to his car and pulled out $10,000, arguing that he wanted to give it to Jim Iyke if the latter had signed a particular document.
When Nana Kwesi asked him what his problem was, the man said that he was to give Jim Iyke the $10,000 if he, Jim, had signed a document.
The man, who alleged that he is a business partner to Jim Iyke, said he had invited Jim Iyke for a meeting at Royal Fiesta Hotel. Jim Iyke got there and when he was asked to sign a contract, because the contract was not too clear, Jim refused, saying he needed to involve a lawyer or legal brain to peruse the document before he could append his signature on it.
The man got furious, accusing Jim Iyke of wasting his time and also spoiling his business because there were other people involved who wanted Jim to sign so they can carry on with the business.
Nana and witnesses tried settling the issue at the Lounge, only for the man to go report to the police that Jim Ike had attacked him.
When the police got to the scene, the people around who was also hob-nobing and were eye witnesses to what ensued, narrated to the police that it is the man who rather attacked Jim Iyke and not the reverse.
The police left without making any arrest.

I Wasted 6Years With Jim-Iyke. He Is An Ingrate.--Ex Gf Keturah cries.

Jim Iyke's ex-girlfriend, Keturah speaks to Diasporan Star:. Jim she said used and dumped her. Jim iyke is the Nollywood bad boy. He asked her for something she wasn't ready to give to him....What could that be?
According to her,
"Jim was supposed to come to New York and stay for six months, during which time, he would go to an acting school here in New York and then we would move to Los Angeles and get married and pursue our acting dreams. I was looking forward to that with eagerness and then he just walked away” she began to sob according to Diasporan Star". Asked what could have been the reason for such a change of heart, Keturah said “we had problems like normal lovers do, but we always resolved them amicably. I know there was something Jim asked me to do, which I didn’t want to do right away, but that should not have made him to do what he did.” Pressed to reveal what it was that Jim wanted him to do, she said it was personal.
“I played along in the reality show as if I truly was a jealous and crazy lover. It was an act, but now I feel as if Jim set me up. He is a wicked man. I stood by him through all his troubles and tribulations. I helped bring him to the limelight when the light of his career was dimming. He is an ingrate and I leave him to God.”
I just can’t believe Jim would be this ungrateful – after all I have done for him. I have not been able to accept this and I am truly in a state of shock. If Jim could treat me the way he did, after six years of being there for him, supporting him, encouraging him in all that he did, then I wish Nadia the best of luck.”
Keturah appears to have moved on with her life. “I am a strong woman and I am moving ahead with my life. God cannot give you that which He will not provide you the platform to stand and deal with. I wish the best in his life.”
Is Keturah depressed about the new development of Jim Iyke and Nadia or is she just sad she was used and dumped?
