Waje Speaks on Why She is still single.

In a recent interview with Waje, she told TheNetng:

You have always said you are single, why is that?

I don`t know why, but I just feel God has a way of doing things. I have so much on my hands now, let that matter rest now, let me not go and marry now before my husband will say he wants pounded yam, cooked by his wife, not by a maid. Then I will leave everything I am doing and I will be pounding yam. But when somebody who understand my kind of person and my job comes along, then it will be easier for me. After all the troubles of the day, the traffic, somebody getting you angry, there should be that one person who can calm you. Everybody would love to have somebody as a companion, so do I.

Wizkid and Waje part ways with manager, Godwin Tom.

Waje’s PR firm confirmed the separation.

Nigeria’s music industry has witnessed another fall-out between an artiste and a manager as pop sensation, Ayo ‘Wizkid’ Balogun, and Waje have parted ways with their manager, Godwin Tom.

Although Wizkid is yet to make an official confirmation, he removed Godwin Tom’s name from his twitter page as manager and replaced it with Seun Johnson.

Speaking with PREMIUM TIMES on phone, Godwin Tom, who once managed rapper, M.I., said he would speak at the right time. “I can’t comment on that sir, not now” he told PREMIUM TIMES while asking for time to release an official statement. Waje’s PR rep, Wild Flower PR, however, confirmed that Waje and Godwin Tom no longer work together.

“Godwin Tom is no longer managing Waje,” Waje’s media rep told NET newspaper.

Waje has also removed Tom’s name and contact from her social media accounts as Tom also removed both Waje and Wizkid’s name from his Twitter page.

Wizkid earlier parted ways with former EME artiste manager, Osagie Osarenkhoe, who is now with Darey’s Soul Musik.
