Man Sentenced To 10 years In Prison For Killing Dogs.

According to Monday's Georgetown Times, Bobby Joe McConnell, 47, pleaded guilty to the charges which stemmed from the killing of two dogs back in July, 2012.
McConnell's first victim was a Labrador retriever who had been bound with tape and dumped into a canal. Fortunately, the dog, named "Dara," was noticed by good Samaritans who were able to save her before she drowned.
McConnell's other victims, two other dogs, taped around the muzzle and legs like Dara, were also found in the canal. These dogs, who belonged to McConnell's mother-in-law and daughter, were not as fortunate; nobody found them before they died.
Judge Hyman gave McConnell the maximum allowable sentence for the charges and fined him $10,000, a portion of which is to be paid to the shelter which cared for Dara after she was rescued.
Judge Hyman stated that McConnell's actions were, “the product of an evil heart.”.... Lol.....
